George Travis Darold Milne XI is Norwegian, Scottish, Irish, English and Czech Republic – in other words Canadian. He was born on July 18, 1986, in a northern town called Fort McMurray, AB. His parents are George Milne X, an electrician, and Patricia Flatla, a university professor.
When he was 12 years old, his mother and stepfather moved him to a city called Lac La Biche, AB. During high school, he participated in extracurricular activities such as football, basketball, athletics, X-C running and the theater program. In his senior year with J.A. Williams H.S. program director Joanne Metchooyeah suggested that Travis should apply for theater school. He did that and was accepted. After three years of rigorous training at the RDC Theater and Film program, he finally got his first agent. Travis continued to work as a part-time actor and full-time carpenter for three years while going through the difficult times.
In 2008, he received his first supporting role as a lawyer named ‘Eric Baldwin’ in the edgy TV Movie Confessions of a Go-Go Girl. a year later he played ‘Bobby’ in Reginald Harkema’s film, Manson My Name is Evil – which premiered at the 2009 Toronto Film Festival.
Travis had signed up for the energy engineering program at his university in his hometown, and was three weeks away from returning to trade school before landed the rookie blue series. It had its world premiere simultaneously in Canada and the United States in the summer of 2010 and has now made 74 episodes.
Travis still enjoys all aspects of architecture, design and DIY improvements. In his spare time, you usually find him at a hardware store.
