Who is Kedon Slovis ? – How Much Is Net Worth ? – How old is ?
When he held a Trojan sword in his right hand, made the Fight On a sign with his left and led the Trojan brass band in Conquest, USC quarterback Kedon Slovis had to believe it was a surreal moment.
Just a week earlier, he had been a largely anonymous newcomer. A year ago, his high school team had lost by 31 points and had fallen to 0-4.
This new reality could have meant a lot to an 18-year-old.
Leading the band in Conquest is the equivalent of being the player of the game. It’s not a big deal, but it’s a nice honor for USC and the kind of moment the players remember long after their career ends. Sometimes it feels more important than others. In the case of Slovis, it reflected a coronation.
The reason for the excitement was not so much Slovis’ record-breaking debut in last week’s 45-20 win over Stanford, but the potential future he suddenly presented. USC was dominant, and Slovis completed 28 of 33 passes for 377 yards and three touchdowns, making it easy. If the Trojans could play so well against a team and a defense that is usually among the best in the country, the fate and oppression of the last few months might be unfounded.
There couldn’t have been a better time for coach Clay Helton.
USC’s losing season in 2018 was the first since 2000. This will not provoke much sympathy across the country, but this kind of failure caused panic for large parts of this particular fan base.
After returning to the quarterback starter, JT Daniels suffered a season-ending injury. A season ticket holder even announced in a letter to the Los Angeles Times editor that he had requested a refund of .940 for the remaining five home games. It was probably an unsuccessful attempt, but the mood behind it was not unusual.
For first-year offensive coordinator Graham Harrell, Slovis’ debut was no reason to celebrate, having decided months ago that Slovis was special. He said it too, but only now can Harrell find a receptive audience.

“As far as a passer-by comes, he’s as good in his arm as I’ve seen,” Harrell said last week. “He can make any throw out there. He can make throws that most people can’t make. With him, all we have to do is do our best to get him to make the right decisions every time, and if he does, he will be a funny kid. ”
Harrell’s comments last week also left open the possibility that USC could do better if Slovis, not Daniels, is on the field.
“They are very different as players,” Harrell said. “Their mentality is very different, their skills are very different, what they bring to the table is very different. As I said, they are very different players, but both have played at a high level since the spring.” and I’m looking forward to that. “
