Jenee Fleenor is an award-winning multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter best known for her violin playing.

 

She is currently breaking the glass ceiling in Nashville as the first woman to be nominated for CMA Musician of the Year. She was named CMA Touring Musician of the Year in 2015, won the Music Row album All-Star in 2019 and was nominated by ACM as Speciality Instrument Player of the Year in 2019 (the only woman ever nominated in this category). She is a member of Blake Shelton’s band and regularly appears on the house band of NBC’s hit show The Voice. In recent years she has toured with Steven Tyler of Aerosmith and previously with country artists Martina McBride, Terri Clark, and Don Williams.

She recently released a Montgomery Gentry single called “Drink Along Song”. “I Am Strong” (recorded by The Grascals & Dolly Parton) was nominated for song of the year at the IBMAs, and she also had a hit song (“Big Blue”) raindrops ” recorded by bluegrass artist Del McCoury, who was on his Grammy-winning record The Streets of Baltimore.
