
Hope Hicks is an American communications/public relations consultancy and former model. She served as White House Communications Director for President Donald Trump (2017-18). Prior to that, she served as White House Director of Strategic Communications. She also served as press secretary during Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign. Hope Charlotte Hicks was born on October 21, 1988, in Greenwich, Connecticut. His parents are Caye and Paul. She has an older sister named Mary Grace. Hicks attended Greenwich High School followed by Southern Methodist University. He graduated in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in English. He also played lacrosse in high school and college.

Hicks did a little modeling early in her career. His first major concert was a campaign for Ralph Lauren. She was 11 at the time. Later, he became the face of the novels of “Hourglass Adventures”. She was the cover model for Cecily von Ziegesar’s 2005 novel “The It Girl”. He also made a cameo appearance in the soap opera Guiding Light. Hicks began his public relations career at the New York firm, Zeno Group. He moved to the consulting and strategic communications company “Hiltzik Strategies” in 2012. While there, she worked on Ivanka Trump’s fashion line. She made public relations and also served as a model for her clothes.
Hicks is a member of the Republican Party. She joined the Trump Organization in August 2014 and in January 2015 was appointed press secretary. During her tenure, she played the role of gatekeeper of journalists who wanted access to Donald Trump. She handled hundreds of requests a day. He also kept a very low profile during the campaign. Hicks served as White House Director of Strategic Communications from January 20, 2017 to September 12, 2017. His salary was the same as former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon and former White House chief of staff Reince Priebus. She became Acting Director of Communications for the White House on August 16, 2017. His post became permanent on September 12, 2017. The White House Communications Director’s office was previously held by Anthony Scaramucci. Hicks resigns on March 29, 2018.
