Black Ink Crew: Chicago star Charmaine Walker is pregnant – and marriage!
A day in the wake of the news that she and her life partner Nick Bey are expecting their first child together, the Truth Star was interrupted Monday by PEOPLE TV’s Reality Check to find out they were going to be married late.
“My life partner Nick is never my life partner again,” he urged. “We didn’t split up; we got married legally.”
“We concluded that we simply had to be one,” he clarified. “It was the only kind of as we are now connected with, so we’ll hitchhike. Why pause? You know, cameras have a big impact on our lives, so we just had to do something for ourselves. “
Making their marriage official was “so amazing,” Walker said. “I feel like a spouse,” he said with a siri. “Also, I currently feel like a mother.”
On Sunday, Walker said on Instagram that she is pregnant with her first child, due on March 12, 2020.
Sharing a video from an ultrasonic arrangement, Walker said: “Waiting for the baby beyond March 2020 2020 Shoutout at Momma Glenda. She was so excited 🦋 The night before she suddenly died, she said, “Despite all that I can’t accept, my son has a baby!” It’s been a crazy and enthusiastic ride, but I’m honored to bring life into this world. #BabyBey.”
Bey also shared news of the pregnancy on her Instagram account, posting a grinning photograph of himself holding his significant baby knock. “Do you all think it’s a boy or a girl?! ‘6 months’, he composed.
“I’m 25 weeks pregnant so that it could be five and a half or six and a half months, I didn’t make sense,” Walker told Reality Check.
While Black Ink Crew fans may have been wonderfully shocked to discover that Walker is turning into a mother, his castmate Ryan Henry said he “realized it was going to happen.”
“I just knew it was coming, so I wasn’t surprised. I knew how they felt about each other; I knew how their relationship was going, and I knew how her family needed a baby,” she revealed to Reality Check, “so it wasn’t unexpected for me.”
